When I think about those yester years

I think about the days

The days of living in one big dream how wonderful they were

My father use to tell me

How ambitious I was then

Slowly my dreams are coming true but

Not the way that I want them to

Because things changed

 

Sometimes I think of why it had to be

I see my mother and the struggle she went through

I cannot tell you of all the pain that I feel

And it’s not all in me

I see it in our eyes in all our eyes…

 

We’ve got to all seek Christ

We’ve got to keep on reaching out

So we can do the will of our Lord

There’s no way to change it

All that’s left is a simple memory…

Now I realize what has happened to my world in front of me

The light seems darker and my path unclear

In the last days people will be lovers of themselves

Lover of money and abusive proud boastful

Unholy ungrateful unforgiving without love

Lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God

They’re the ones who warm their way into homes and gain control

Over weak willed women who are loaded down with sin

And are swayed by all kinds of evil desires unholy ways

Always learning but never able to grasp the holy truth (2 Tim: 3)

 

But I say unto you Follow the spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh

For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the spirit

And the spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature

They are in conflict with each other

So that you do not do what you want (Gal: 16&17)

 

   So my brothers follow the ways of the spirit

   And the ways of the flesh will slowly diminish

 

   Warfare lies within the mind the battlefield of life

   Accepting the ways of the flesh or denying evil deeds

   Our Lord knew that we couldn’t fight on our own so He has won

   Victory for us on Calgary accept Him and we will win!!!
